This Privacy Policy is for the mobile application TapBooster (“the App”), created by TapBooster, and it explains how the App handles user data and protects user privacy.
No Data Collection: TapBooster does not collect any personal information or user data. It does not request or access any device-specific information, and it does not require any permissions to operate. This strict no-data-collection policy is designed to ensure the utmost privacy and security of our users.
NFC Functionality: The App utilizes NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for its core functionality. It offers two primary features – Write and Read:
Write: When using the Write feature, TapBooster allows users to set a link on an NFC tag. This process is performed entirely locally on the user’s device and does not involve the collection or transmission of any user or device data. The App does not store any information about the links set on NFC tags.
Read: The Read feature allows users to verify the functionality of an NFC tag. It only prompts an NFC screen and confirms the tag’s functionality. No user data or device information is collected or transmitted.
Third-Party Services: TapBooster does not use or integrate with any third-party services or libraries that collect user data. This eliminates any potential risks associated with third-party data sharing.
Children’s Privacy: TapBooster is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from users under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal information, they should contact us, and we will promptly delete such information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy: We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure it remains accurate and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Users will be notified of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date below.
